Natural BuildingNatural Building involves the use of 'low-impact materials' with regards the planets sustainability.
Typically they are renewable (non-finite) with utilisation typically invloving low-energy or low carbon or low-emodied inputs and outputs, e.g. emissions, pollution etc...
Key Materials ans associated building techniques include
Timber
Straw - commonly used in straw bale format
Industrial Hemp fibes in natural raw processsed format or as proprietary products as insulation or as an aggregate in a conglomorate mix - e.g. a form of concrete.
Earth building, which can include:
Adobe
Rammed Earth otherwise known as pisé de terre.
Cob
Earthbag
Cordwood
A whole host of other materials can be used to compliment the above. Some examples are as below (listing beyond this could be rather eroneous):-
Sheeps wool
Bamboo
Fibre boards e.g. Straw Board, or others either indvidual/combination composition materials including Flax, Hemp etc..
